Season One Finals

I have been unable to keep the blog up to date for several reasons. Primary amungst those is the fact that I do not have a home internet conection and I have to spend what time i have studying for Tafe. So I am sorry for that. But, that being said, we have figured out who will be playing who in the semi-finals and finals.

This Thursday we will be playing all final Blood Bowl games along with the Chaos Cup and awarding the Spike Magazine trophy.

Delays

sorry folks for the delays in updating the site currently Ian was the only one updating the site but now i think i will pull my weight as a commissioner i have obligations to keep the coaches happy and well informed with results and match-ups. HELPING YOU ENJOY BLOOD BOWL MORE... RYAN SEILER:)

hey guys, this is Ian. Just wanted to say how much i love the poopdeck corsairs. They are top of the league table, are master painted, and beautifully converted and of course have a top notch coach, so i thought id leave you with that.

see you guys later....oh and we are potentially getting 2 new league members and definitely if we move to good games....also another league is considering a merger.....just some ideas floating around.

Sorry for the slightly late posting, I have been enrolling in TAFE and trying to find some spare time. I have it now and I have redone the Divisions.

Round 1 Results

Well Round one is over. After a slow start to the day we ended up with a better than expected show out. So congrats to those that made it.

We have had a coach drop out (Well he never actually contacted us) so we have decided to re-shuffle the divisions. There will now be 2 divisions of 5 teams each.

The Results of Round one are as follows

* Only Played one half.
# Both Coaches could not play on the day.

Tom's Witch Elf, Maeven Maebolgia had an excellent game. After 3 completed passes and a touchdown she was the first player to walk away with a new skill set. Indigo, being on the receiving end of this, unfortunately spent alot of the game with most of his team stunned.

Ryan's Ogre, Jargo Frimble, spent alot of the first half trying to do things like Blitz and failing massively. But after one of Ian's witch elves scored his second touch down, Jargo managed to get a Blitz on kick off and promptly got under the ball and caught it within distance to the score line and was set to score. Ryan then set up a screen around Jargo. During Ian's next turn he had to stop, block or just get in the way of the menacing ogre. After putting two witch elves in the path of the ogre, Ian then snuck a lineman in behind, after 3 hefty dodges, and tried his hardest to push the ogre over. After Jargo was pushed back, and out of range of the score line by one square, he then side stepped and tried to hand off the ball to a near by blitzer. Unfortunately due to the rain, the ball was incredibly slippery and it was not caught. For the next 7 turns, Ian and Ryan fumbled and slipped all over the ball until Ian came out of top. He then Proceeded to score one more try.

Unfortunately a couple of games did not go ahead as planed. Firstly Rhys and Misha did not have enough time to complete 2 full halves so only played one. They played fast and furiously, and one try was scored. So we at least had a winner. Also, both Ben and Harry could not make it due to the actual real world rain, and parents, so we have counted that game as a draw for both of them. All 4 coaches will have priority for gaming next round.

First Round Match Ups Saturday the 6th

Hey All, Just A reminder that the first round of season 1 will begin on saturday the 6th, pools and match ups will be emailed to you closer to the date. Also we are proud to announce that we now have more than 10 players who have signed up to the league! this is huge and season 1 promises to be exciting indeed.
